How CPAP rental works

From your first request to the day the machine goes back.

Before you rent

CPAP is a prescription therapy. Your doctor sets the pressure after a sleep study, and a rental needs that prescription. If you do not have one yet, talk to your doctor about a sleep study first. The form lets you say you are still working on it.

Request

Send the form with the type of machine, how long you need it, and a way to reach you. Pricing questions go through the form, so ask about anything you want to know before you decide.

Confirm

We confirm that a machine is available and go over the details of your prescription with you, including the pressure or pressure range.

Receive

A rental package typically includes the machine, tubing, a power supply and a mask. Filters and a humidifier chamber are often available as extras. Fit matters, so tell us if you prefer a nasal mask, nasal pillows or a full-face mask.

Use it and return it

Use the machine every night. Clean the mask cushion daily and the tubing and water chamber weekly, with distilled water only. When your rental period ends, return the machine as we explain, and keep going on your own machine if you bought one.

Rent or buy

Renting costs more per month than financing a machine for the long term. In return you take on no big purchase, and you can stop if the mask or the pressure turns out to be wrong for you. If you already know CPAP works for you, buying usually costs less over a year or more.
